Paradox Interactive has debuted the official website for Elven Legacy, the upcoming fantasy strategy game developed by 1C:Ino-Co.

The site features in-depth profiles on the heroes of Elven Legacy, including Lord Sagittel and Gylven, and descriptions of the wide variety of battle units available to players. The online galleries include new concept art, screenshots, videos, in-game clips and wallpaper. The site also features the Elven Legacy developer diaries written by lead game designer Max Bodrikov of Ino-Co. Fans can also keep informed on the latest updates about Elven Legacy by visiting the news section and subscribing to the RSS feed.

Elven Legacy is a fantasy strategy game that sends players on an epic quest aimed to restore the former glory of the Elven race. The game offers a thrilling storyline with multiple endings and tools that allow players to create their own missions and campaigns and share them in multiplayer mode.

Elven Legacy is scheduled for release in April 2009 and will be published worldwide by Paradox Interactive and for digital download at GamersGate.

The second company to emerge from the former Ensemble Studios has been announced. Bonfire Studios is a 35 person studio currently working on an original IP to be announced in the coming months. The Bonfire team is made up entirely of former Ensemble employees fresh off of Halo Wars.

The company is built on over a decade of experience gained making award-winning real-time strategy games that have defined the genre. Bonfire's management team has a reputation for being a strong partner for publishers seeking high-quality production and original titles.

The Ancient Roman Empire will rise again when D3Publisher (D3P) brings the PC casual games brand Cradle of Rome to Nintendo DS this fall. Players will re-create the legendary city of old using a unique variation of the much loved Match-3 puzzle mechanic to build more than 20 masterpieces of the Ancient Roman architecture. More than 100 mind-bending levels, each with its own puzzle board design, will call for players to use a different strategy each time to build and conquer their way to become Emperor. Cradle of Rome is slated to ship to North American retail stores on November 18, 2008.
On the concrete streets of America's biggest cities, the law of the jungle still applies. Days of Wrath the game tells the story of gangs in North America, the media who exploits them, and the consequences of both. Celia Fox, Movie Director, Screenwriter and CEO of Foxy Films has entered an agreement with game developer United Coders to develop a console game based on the movie, Days Of Wrath, for a simultaneous global release in spring 2009. Work on Days Of Wrath the movie has finished, while work on the game began recently.
NoWay Studio announces they have signed with American publisher Graffiti Entertainment to publish their debut title, "C.O.R.E.", in North America. Available exclusively on the Nintendo DS, and launching in 4th Quarter 2008, "C.O.R.E" is an action-packed multiplayer First Person Shooter. With a gripping single player mission, based on a Roswell style storyline, the game also boasts an exciting multiplayer experience in specially designed arenas.
Ozura Mobile has signed a partnership deal with Goldfinch Mobile Solutions, an Indian based VAS and Roaming Solutions provider. AnimfxNZ, a conference for digital animation, effects, animation and games, announces the theme for this year's conference. Paradox Interactive has confirmed the release date for their upcoming space action combat simulator for the PC, Dark Horizon. Dark Horizon will be released in North America on September 23rd and in Europe on September 26, 2008.

Dark Horizon is a space combat adventure where the player fights for survival through 22 missions of space combat. The title is laced with RPG elements such as original weapon and equipment creation, several modes of combat and advanced ship customization. Dark Horizon also offers joystick support.
