Steps

1. Acquire and save as much money as possible, at least 20,000 gp or more.
2. Become a Clay Merchant.
   • Go into the bank and say a catchy phrase such as "Follow to make up to 100k an hour!" or something like that.
   • Tell all of the people who come to you that you will pay them 200gp each for soft clay.
   • Add them to your friends list, and every once in a while encourage them to get you more clay until you have spent all your money.
   • Go to the Runescape homepage and select "Discuss the game on the forums."
   • Find and click construction on the list.
   • Search the first two pages for anything involving buying clay, or just something general like "supplies".
   • Charge about 300-350gp for each clay.
   • Repeat this process and you will become very wealthy!
3. Merchant Yews
4. First, head over to Edgeville.
5. You will see two yew trees in an alley near the entrance to Edgeville Dungeon. There will probably be a lot of people trying to get the yew logs first.
6. Say that you are buying yew logs for 250gp each.
7. Once you have a good amount of logs, sell them in Varrock World 1 for 300 each.
8. Get rich!
9. Become a Cowhide Merchant.
   • Walk into the Al Kadrid bank and say "Buying cowhides 100gp each!"
   • Buy about 450 for 45k.
   • Go to the tanner and tan all of them.
   • Go to the homepage and check the forums under crafting for people buying cowhides.
   • Charge about 130+ gp each.
10. Make steel bars
    • Learn to smith steel bars.
    • Go to the Falador East bank and buy coal and iron. Buy half as much iron as coal.
    • Pay no more than 150gp each for coal and 90gp each for iron.
    • Start making steel bars after you have enough supplies.
    • Head to world one and sell your steel bars for 550-600gp each.
    • Make a 160-210gp profit per each bar.
11. Buy Oak Logs.
    • Go to a crowded world (1800+ people) in Varrok.
    • Buy as many oak logs in the general store as you can for about 6gp each.
    • Store them in the bank.
    • Sell the logs in world 1 for 20gp.
12. Mine Iron
    • Mine at least 50 iron a day. Get as much iron as you can.
    • Go to world one and sell it for 100gp each.
13. Sell feathers.
    • If you are a member, go to a free world and buy all feathers for no more than 6 GP each.
    • Sell them on free worlds for 10-20 each; you can make 14k in a matter of seconds! After you have bought 10k+ feathers that will be 140k in minutes!
14. Make recoils.
    • Buy cut sappires no more than 700 gp each
    • Buy gold bars no more than 300 gp each
    • Buy cosmic runes
    • Make into sappire rings
    • enchant into rings of recoil then go to edgeville bank and sell in world 18

Tips

• Just because somebody says they are buying a certain amount, does not mean that they won't buy less, or more.
• Be creative! Find your own ways to merchant, this can be a good way.
• Be smart. Don't change your price at all, you may end up losing money.
• Stay up to date. Prices are always are changing, and you have got to watch and see what they are.
• Give people encouragement, tell them what they want to hear. (Ex. If you get me 1000 soft clay, you'll get 200k!)
• Be nice. Show people how to mine clay, or find hides.
• Look around for people who look like they need money and offer them jobs.

Warnings

• You may find it difficult to sell some items, particularily the hides. Keep at it!
• You can't use the forums if you're not subscribed.
• Watch out for scammers.
• Don't force people to work for you.
• Make sure you do not play too much. If you do, you face the detirioration of your social and educational life.
• Find a high demand item people will pay more for these.
